The Kailua Beach Park sand replenishment project has officially commenced.

During this beach fill project, the boat ramp, boat ramp parking lot, and parking area near the concession stand comfort station will be closed, reports khon2.com.

The project will last two weeks and the crews will be replenishing the beach near the boat ramp.

Kailua Beach Park is located on the Windward side of Honolulu, at the end of Kailua Road, in Kailua.
