Huisman awarded Iv-Consult with the assignment to design one of world’s largest construction halls for Huisman’s production facility in Fujian, China.
Iv-Consult is designing the complete new construction hall, including the steel superstructure, cranes, crane railways, staircases and walkways. Designing the concrete foundations and floors is also part of the activities.
The hall is about 100 meters high, 100 meters wide and 200 meters long. With these dimensions, it is one of the world’s larger construction halls. The new construction hall will be used for the construction of cranes, drilling derricks and pipe laying systems. Huisman is active worldwide and has extensive experience in the design and manufacturing of heavy construction equipment for the world’s leading onshore and offshore companies.
