Cecon Shipping 2 AS, a subsidiary of Rever Offshore AS, said today that it has won a bareboat charter contract from Micoperi SLR for the new multipurpose subsea construction vessel Cecon Pride.
The cutting-edge Cecon Pride is being built at Chantier Davie Canada Inc. (Davie) and is the first of three VS4220 ships.
At 130 meters long, the Cecon Pride has been built to conform to the high standards required for deepwater operations in harsh environments.
Duration of the charter is firm 10 months, with options. The charter will commence in May 2014, immediately after the yard delivery.
