Statoil Petroleum AS has received consent to use the Island Frontier well intervention vessel at Tune field, in the Norwegian part of the North Sea.

In addition to the fields which were included in previous consents, a need has arisen for well intervention work at Tune.

In response to an application by Statoil in February 2014, consent has been given to use Island Frontier vessel for light well intervention activity at Tune. The planned start-up is June 2014.

Tune is a gas condensate field belonging to production licences 034 and 190 and is located around 10 kilometres west of the Oseberg field centre in the northern part of the North Sea.
