Yemen Gulf of Aden Ports Corporation (YGAPC) and the Ports Institute of the Arab Academy for Science and Technology have signed an agreement on cooperation, training and partnership at the end of the Logistics and Transport Conference held in the city of Alexandria, Egypt.

The agreement aims at providing technical and professional training for the staff of the Corporation and Aden Co. , related to shipping industry either in Alexandria or in Aden.

The agreement targets development of the Maritime Training Center, creation of a real partnership in management and construction of a regional institute to provide the necessary maritime transport services.
