Quintana Shipping Ltd, Itochu Corporation and Sasebo Heavy have signed a contract for the construction of a Post-Panamax bulk carrier 84,900 dwt with delivery scheduled for Q3 2015.
The vessel will be built under ABS supervision and fly the Marshall Islands Flag.
She will be the third Post-Panamax design of 85K SSK in Quintana Shipping’s fleet.
She will be sister vessel of MV Q Sue and MV Q Deb that were delivered to Quintana Ship Management Ltd at the end of 2013 and beginning of 2014 respectively.
