One of the world’s largest independent survey companies continues to expand operations and has announced the successful completion of a project in South America.

Houston-based UTEC Survey Inc. provided survey services aboard the Ocean Spur jack-up rig for rig move operations in the Amistad Field, Gulf of Guayaquil, offshore Ecuador. The survey work was staffed and project managed from UTEC’s Houston headquarters.

Commenting on the project, Doug Catenaci, VP Sales and Commercial of UTEC said: “Our commitment to people, performance, excellent and ethics has been crucial to the successful outcome of our first project in Ecuador and look forward to working on future projects.”

UTEC exhibited at the recent Oceanology event in London, England and is gearing up to attend SPAR International 2014 in Colorado, USA from April 14th to 17th. The company will be present in booth #324.
