DSME signed a memorandum of understanding with AVEVA for ship and offshore plant engineering software.
Through this MOU, DSME and AVEVA will combine efforts to develop software that increases the efficiency of business activities. These two companies will release a software called DACOS-G (DSME Advanced CAD System for Offshore & Shipbuilding – Global). DACOS-G is the DSME self-developed engineering software which was based on the AVEVA Marine system.
AVEVA is a CAD software company based in England. This MOU has incredible significance as the world’s top 2 companies in the shipbuilding and engineering software business have come together to penetrate the software market.
