Energy Navigator has announced the release of AFE Nav 8.0, the latest version of its all-in-one AFE workflow and capital tracking system.

AFE Navigator was one of the first systems to allow oil and gas exploration and production companies to electronically create, monitor, manage, approve and audit Authorizations For Expenditure. AFE Nav enables companies to more efficiently and effectively manage capital spending and the lifecycle of capital projects by moving from outdated and inefficient paper-based approvals and tracking to electronic AFE management. AFE Nav 8.0 takes the electronic experience even further with a web-based interface that enables users to quickly, easily and securely manage their AFE workflows from anywhere and on any device – desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile – regardless of operating system.

“Our entire team is very proud of the new AFE Nav 8.0,” said Energy Navigator’s VP, Sales & Marketing, Shannon Panko .

“We’ve listened carefully to our customers and completely reworked AFE Nav to meet their needs. The benefits to our existing customers, to future clients and to the industry is a rock-solid, secure system that can be used anywhere – connecting the office and the field with project partners like never before and ensuring capital expenditures can be managed and approved more quickly, more efficiently and more accurately.”

New design and technical features include:

– Accessibility from any device and any operating system; – Device pairing and single sign-on capabilities; – A new dashboard overview screen; – Intuitive redesign with better graphs and visuals; – Simplified search functions; version tracking; – The ability to select and sync data with other enterprise systems.

AFE Nav 8.0 will help oil and gas companies to save on costs, administration time and maintenance.
