Singapore-listed Chinese shipbuilder Yangzijiang Shipbuilding (Holdings) Ltd. has had a busy March having received 18 new orders worth $815 million.
These orders for 18 newbuildings include: two 82,000 DWT and one 208,000 DWT bulk carriers (options made effective during March); four 10,000 TEU containerships converted from existing options; and eleven new orders for 82,000 DWT bulk carriers.
All vessels are slated for delivery between 2015 and 2017.
So far, the shipbuilder bagged twenty-six effective shipbuilding contracts with the total value of $1.07 billion.
