Atea AS signs an agreement with Statoil to deliver network products and support to Statoil worldwide.

The agreement is valid for 3 years with an option for 2 more years. Estimated annual contract value is NOK 50 million ($8.34 M).

The agreement includes delivery of network products, both hardware and software, as well as maintenance and support.

Statoil is using advanced meeting room and collaborative technologies which represents one of the world’s largest collaboration networks. The existing solution will be expanded and developed to meet Statoil’s specific needs in more than 30 countries worldwide.

The winning of this contract proves that Atea’s strategic focus in communication and collaboration solutions over the past few years has proven to be correct. Atea’s global delivery capability was a prerequisite for the winning of this contract as Statoil sets a very high standard of delivery execution.

“Statoil is a global player and we are proud of the expansion of the partnership with Atea specifically within this area. We have a solid and highly skilled organization and we will work diligently to ensure that Statoil will be pleased in the coming years,” says Dag Fodstad , CEO of Atea AS.
