Blue Denmark is invited to arrange maritime activities when Danish Maritime Days puts the maritime industry on the map of the world in October 2014.
An open invitation for the entire Blue Denmark
In continuation of the Danish Government’s Plan for growth in Blue Denmark, the initiative has been taken for a major maritime event, Danish Maritime Days. “ Everyone with an interest in the maritime industry is invited to arrange or take part in maritime activities during Danish Maritime Days. Danish Maritime Days will be held all over Denmark from 6 to 10 October 2014,” Danish Maritime Authority (DMA) said in a press release.
“Danish Maritime Days is an obvious possibility for Blue Denmark to stand together vis-à-vis and international audience and show our strengths and competences. The success of Danish Maritime Days depends on the entire Blue Denmark’s interest in taking ownership so I do hope that everyone will support the event in October”, says Director-General of the Danish Maritime Authority Andreas Nordseth .
Join Danish Maritime Days
The Secretariat of Danish Maritime Days has been established by the Danish Shipowners’ Association, Danish Maritime and the Danish Maritime Authority to create Danish Maritime Days as an annual event for the next three years. One element of Danish Maritime Days is the conference Danish Maritime Forum. Here, senior managers from the international industry and political decision-makers will get together to debate the visions of and the challenges faced by the maritime industry and shipping’s contribution to global growth and development.
