Ocean Shield, a vessel searching for the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, detected two new signals after the first two detected on April 05.
The Authorities believe that the pings discovered in the Southern Indian Ocean are coming from the aircraft’s black box flight data recorders.
As BBC reports, the first signal was monitored for more than five minutes and a second for around seven minutes.
According to Forbes the signals from the black box data recorders are sent until they run out of battery, and Boeing 777’s could be any day now.
With this new breakthrough the search area can be narrowed.
Ocean Shield will continue the search before the deployment of an autonomous underwater vehicle.
The Boeing 777 went missing on March 08 with 239 people onboard.
