VisSim will supply Marine Radar VTMS and Oil Spill Detection solutions to the Ivar Aasen oil field in the North Sea.
VisSim AS has signed an agreement to supply Marine Radar VTMS and Oil Spill Detection solutions to the oil production platform operating the Ivar Aasen oil field in the North Sea.
Situated west of the Johan Sverdrup field in the North Sea, the oil field Ivar Aasen will be operated by Det norske oljeselskap ASA.
“Our surveillance solution is part of the integrated Electrification, instrumentation/control and telecommunication system supplied by Siemens,” said the company.
The Marine Radar VTMS and Oil Spill Detection solutions will be integrated with the Statoil surveillance system monitored and controlled by the Sandsli Control Center in Bergen, Norway.
