Newly purchased platform supply vessel – HYSY613 has been successfully delivered to China Oilfield Services Limited.
Equipped with a main-turbine power output of 6,000 horsepower, as well as a DP2 dynamic positioning capability, HYSY613 has an overall length of 75 meters and gross tonnage of 3,300 tonnes.
Apart from being able to carry bulk materials and drilling fluids, HYSY613 is also equipped with a 150 cubic-meter tank to supply Methanol/ethylene glycol to the platform it serves.
The vessel is expected to commence operations in South China Sea in mid-April. Another platform supply vessel of the same model that was purchased together with HYSY613 is expected to be delivered to the Group by the end of April.
