All jacket pin piles have been installed at the Baltic 2 offshore wind farm, the project’s developer EnBW confirmed to Offshore WIND .

Workers on the jack-up vessel Goliath have driven the jacket pin piles into the seabed. An important part of the work on the foundations is now complete, the company said.

Baltic 2 consists of 39 monopiles and 41 jackets for 80 Siemens 3.6 MW wind turbines. In December last year, all 39 monopiles were installed . EEW Special Pipe Constructions GmbH has manufactured the monopiles, as well as 123 pin piles for EnBW’s Baltic 2 offshore wind farm.

The construction on the Baltic 2 offshore wind farm started in August 2013.
