USA: Galveston District Prepares Sabine Neches Dredging Plan

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District, plans to announce a tender for removal of about 957,000 cubic yards of material from the Sabine Neches Waterway. Anticipated solicitation issuance date is on or about 13 June 2014, and the estimated proposal due date will be on or about 18 July 2

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District, plans to announce a tender for removal of about 957,000 cubic yards of material from the Sabine Neches Waterway.

Anticipated solicitation issuance date is on or about 13 June 2014, and the estimated proposal due date will be on or about 18 July 2014.

The estimated cost of this maintenance dredging project is between $5 mln and $10 mln.

The completion time for the project is estimated at 181 days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed.
