Twenty foundations have been installed so far at the Westermost Rough offshore wind farm, and the installation vessel Innovation is on its way back to the site with the fifth foundation batch loaded.
The construction work is carried out according to schedule and with a very good performance, despite harsh weather conditions over the last week, Jan Klaassen, Business Unit Manager for Offshore Renewables at GeoSea, told Offshore WIND this morning.
Westermost Rough will comprise 35 wind turbines from Siemens, each with a 6MW capacity.
