The Belmar Beach replenishment program is currently underway.
This project is part of an emergency shore protection project which will repair and restore previously constructed beach erosion control and storm damage reduction projects throughout the region affected by Hurricane Sandy.
Once completed, the greater protective barrier between the coastal communities and the ocean will reduce the risk of flooding and storm related damages.
