Island Offshore has informed through the social media that it has taken delivery of the subsea construction vessel M/V ‘Island Pride’.
The vessel was delivered from VARD Brevik in Norway.
The vessel is of UT 737 CD design and is capable of providing trenching work, crane work, subsea construction, ROV operations, survey work, IMR work, supply duties etc.
M/V Island Pride was christened during a naming ceremony in Brevik in March.
The Island Pride will take the role of a “walk-to-work” vessel for Maersk Oil UK from the coming weekend.
