According to the latest report from the Joint Agency Coordination Centre, the Western Australia Police have spotted material washed ashore 10 kilometers east of Augusta and have secured the material.

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) is examining the photographs of the material to determine whether further physical analysis is required and if there is any relevance to the search of missing flight MH370.

The Agency also reported that the air search is suspended due to poor weather conditions in the area.

Three aircraft which departed for the search area before the suspension have been recalled.

The ships will continue the search today in an area covering approximately 37,948 square kilometers.

The Bluefin-21 AUV is currently completing mission ten in the underwater search area. It has now completed more than 80 per cent of the focused underwater search area.
