Norwegian Electric Systems recently got the contracts for two diesel electric propulsion systems for Esvagt’s newbuildings, hull no. 1085 and 1086.

The vessels are going to be built in Singapore, and these are NES’ 5th and 6th deliveries to Esvagt in 2 years.

The scope of supply for each vessel includes:

– 1 x diesel lectric propulsion system

– R.A.S.

– Calculations/ Engineering

– Project management

– Documentation

– Commissioning/ Seatrials

Esvagt is an international support vessel operator. Their fleet comprises of 37 units ranging from anchor handling, tug, supply, tanker assist vessels to oil recovery, survey and ERRV vessels.
