Divers continue the search on Monday for the bodies of more than a 100 missing people in the South Korean ferry accident.
South Korean President Park Geun-hye issued an apology over the ferry accident, BBC reports.
“I don’t know how to apologise for the failure to prevent this accident, and for the insufficient first response.
“I am sorry to the people and heavy-hearted that many precious lives were lost,” BBC quoted Ms Park as saying.
The cause of the accident is still unknown, and the investigations are ongoing.
15 crew members were arrested and are facing criminal negligence charges.
The Sewol ferry which was en route from Incehon to the island of Jeju sank with over 400 people on board, on April 16.
174 people survived, including 22 of the 29 crew members.
