Island Commander was delivered from Vard Brevik in 2009 and went directly on contract with ConocoPhillips. In 2010 the vessel was converted to a well stimulation vessel, as the first well stimulation vessel with clean design. “Island Offshore is very pleased with the contract extension and look forward to continue the great cooperation with ConocoPhillips,” the Company said in a press release.
