Corps Seeks Input on Skiffes Creek Dredging Plan (USA)

The USACE’s Norfolk District has prepared a draft Supplemental Environmental Assessment on behalf of the 7th Transportation Brigade (Expeditionary), Joint Base Langley-Eustis, to assess the potential impacts of maintenance dredging the Skiffes Creek Channel, a tributary of the James River.

The purpose of this Supplemental Environmental Assessment is to supplement the 2003 Environmental Assessment for restoring navigation to the Skiffes Creek Channel Project.

Several key changes have occurred since the dredging was last performed in 2004.

The comment period will end on May 30, 2014.
