USA: Matagorda Ship Channel Requires Dredging

According to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District, the Matagorda Ship Channel dredging program will be underway soon. The solicitation for this cleanup project will be issued on or about 27 June, and the response date is 29 July 2014. The work will involve removal of approximately 2

According to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District, the Matagorda Ship Channel dredging program will be underway soon.

The solicitation for this cleanup project will be issued on or about 27 June, and the response date is 29 July 2014.

The work will involve removal of approximately 2 million cubic yards of material from an area between the Peninsula and Point Comfort.

The total value of this scheme is between $5 million and $10 million.
