Statoil has received consent to use pipelines and subsea production facilities and implement changes at Grane in production licence 169 Svalin.
Svalin is eight kilometres south-west of the Grane field. Water depth is around 120 metres. Svalin has been developed using a multi-branch well from the Grane facility with a seabed facility tied back to Grane.
The planned start-up is 1 June 2014.
The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway has now granted consent to use pipelines and subsea production and to implement changes in accordance with Statoil’s application.
