Statoil to use subsea production facilities in PL 169

Statoil has received consent to use pipelines and subsea production facilities and implement changes at Grane in production licence 169 Svalin. Statoil has received consent to use pipelines and subsea production facilities and implement changes at Grane in production licence 169 Svalin.

Svalin is eight kilometres south-west of the Grane field. Water depth is around 120 metres. Svalin has been developed using a multi-branch well from the Grane facility with a seabed facility tied back to Grane.

The planned start-up is 1 June 2014.

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway has now granted consent to use pipelines and subsea production and to implement changes in accordance with Statoil’s application.
