Tullow Oil plc (Tullow) announces the successful production of the 100 millionth barrel of crude oil from the Jubilee field, Ghana.
To mark this significant milestone Tullow has produced a new country film to provide an update on the company’s operations in Ghana.
Ghana’s Jubilee field, which straddles the Deepwater Tano and West Cape Three Points licences, was discovered via the Mahogany-1 and Hyedua-1 exploration wells in 2007.
The two wells were drilled five km apart and intersected a large continuous accumulation of light sweet crude oil in excellent quality stacked reservoir sandstones with net oil pays of 95m and 41m respectively.
