The survey vessel RV ‘Neptune’ has started its work on the Gwynt y Mor offshore wind farm.

RV ‘Neptune’ joins as an additional vessel to assist in the survey work that started earlier this year.

RV Neptune will be carrying out seabed investigations, alongside Chartwell, Confidante and Discovery survey vessels, at various locations within the Gwynt y Môr offshore wind farm area.

Osiris Projects’ RV ‘Neptune’ was commissioned as a multi-purpose DPI Survey vessel which has undergone extensive refits in 2008 & 2013 to provide a comfortable and well-considered offshore platform capable of shallow or deep water survey operations.

Gwynt y Môr will consist of 160 turbines and is being built by RWE Innogy UK.
