Republic of Maldives’ Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure has signed an agreement with MT Hojgaard Pvt Ltd for the construction of multi-purpose jetty in Haa Alif atoll Baarah.
The ceremony held at Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure yesterday was attended by Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, Senior Project manager of MT Hojgaard Mr. Kennoth Holm, Minister of State for Housing and Infrastructure Mr. Abdulla Ziyad, Baarashu constituency Parliament Member Mr. Ibrahim Sujau and Baarashu Island Council members.
The project is scheduled to be completed within 268 days from the date of commencement.
Project scope includes construction of 115m jetty with mooring facilities and loading and unloading facilities.
Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr. Mohamed Muizzu signed the contract on behalf of the Ministry while Senior Project manager of MT Hojgaard Mr. Kennoth Holm inked the contract on behalf of MT Hojgaard Pvt Ltd.
