Sif Group in the city of Roermond is manufacturing 43 steel foundation piles for the Eneco Luchterduinen Wind Farm, located 23 kilometers off the coast between Noordwijk and Zandvoort. W ind turbines will be mounted directly on top of these monopiles , representing an innovative new technique that has previously been applied only in a relatively small number of cases.
