Tsuneishi Heavy Industries (Cebu), Inc. (THICI) delivered a 58,000 dwt type bulk carrier m/v Global Vega on May 12th 2014.
M/V Global Vega, launched on February 17th 2014, is the 8th vessel delivered by the shipbuilder in 2014, and 179th ship delivered since the establishment of THICI in 1994. The ship, with five cargo holds and four deck cranes, has a length of 190 meters and width of 32.26 meters.
The vessel, owned by a Japanese national, is en route to Indonesia where she will be loaded with coal .
With a total of 60 more ships still to be delivered, THICI will be busy until 2017.
