UMW Naga 5 jack-up drilling rig reaches its destination in the Philippines, with spud expected later this week.

Nido Petroleum Limited has, on behalf of the Service Contract 63 Joint Venture partners, PNOC-EC and Dragon Oil (Philippines SC 63) Limited, informed that the UMW Naga 5 jack-up rig arrived at the Baragatan-1 well location on 12 May 2014 following a ten day tow from Singapore as planned.

The forward plan is to move the rig over the Baragatan-1 surface location, offshore Palawan, and complete pre-loading activities ahead of spudding the well later in the week.
