The Danish cable installation company, CT Offshore, has been awarded a contract at the DONG Energy’s Gode Wind OWF 1 + 2. The scope of work covers the cable installation and burial of 97 inter-array cables.

”In the current market this is an important contract for CT Offshore. While new and larger cable laying vessels are being deployed on the offshore renewable scene, we still believe that a decisive factor to accomplish successfully is the years of experience and extensive knowledge that the team at CT Offshore can offer within installation and burial of inter-array cables”, says CEO at A2SEA and chairman of the Board at CT Offshore, Jens Frederik Hansen.

Gode Wind Offshore Wind Farm 1+2 is located in the German North Sea and developed by DONG Energy.

The cable installation is scheduled to start in the summer of 2015.
