Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group (AREG) has confirmed that Natural Power’s International Director, Jeremy Sainsbury OBE will be the Keynote Speaker at their International Trade Reception, on Tuesday 20th May 2014, in Aberdeen.

The event is scheduled to take place on the eve on All Energy, and is due to attract over 200 delegates from around the world. Mr. Sainsbury will be joined by Gordon McIntosh, Director of Enterprise, Planning and Infrastructure at Aberdeen City Council and Morag McCorkindale, Chief Operating Officer at AREG for the keynote speeches, focussing on 10 years of sustainable energy development in Aberdeen.

The former Chairman of Scottish Renewables, Mr. Sainsbury is currently Grid Group Chair, working closely with The Scottish Government on policy for the renewable sector specialising in planning and grid matters. He regularly works with Scottish Ministers on industry working groups including the EMR Institutional Framework Expert Working Group. Having been on the Board for Association of Electricity Producers (now Energy UK) for six years, Mr. Sainsbury is now the Chair of the Scottish Group.
