MPI Offshore has taken delivery of its new offshore wind farm support vessel (WFSV) ‒ MPI Trifaldi .
MPI Trifaldi is contracted for the Westermost Rough offshore wind farm and will start working there in June, when wind turbine installation is scheduled to kick off.
Before being deployed at the Westermost Rough site, alongside MPI Lucinda , the vessel will work for Scira on its Sheringham Shoal offshore wind farm for a few weeks.
MPI Trifaldi , built by South Boats, has been designed to meet the changing and ever more demanding requirements of supporting UK offshore wind farms.
