Croatia’s Adria Winch, a company specialized in deck machinery, with production facilities in Split, has recently received two contracts worth around EUR 400.000.
As part of the first contract Adria Winch will deliver anchor-mooring equipment for Havyard’s newly designed Platform Supply Vessel.
The vessel, of the 833 WE ICE design, will be constructed at Havyard’s yard in Leirvik in Norway, and will be delivered in July 2015 for Fafnir Offshore HF.
Havyard 833 WE ICE is a newly developed platform supply vessel (PSV) design based on the most recent technology within fuel economy and environmental friendliness. This PSV is designed to operate as efficiently as possible and with the least amount of influence from exposed waters, in say, the Arctic region.
Scope of supply from Adria Winch will include: Two Electrical Anchor Winches of 50K3 chain; Two Electrical Mooring Winches of 80 kN pulling force; One Electrical Tugger Winch of 100 kN pulling force.
VARD contract
Furthermore, the Split-based Adria Winch has received a contract to supply anchor-mooring equipment for a Platform Supply Vessel of VARD 1 08 design. The vessel will be built in Vung Tau Shipyard in Vietnam in 2Q 2015 for Carlotta Offshore .
Scope of supply from Adria Winch will include: Two Electrical Anchor Winches of 46K3 chain; Two Electrical Mooring Capstans of 100 kN pulling force; One Electrical Tugger Winches of 100 kN pulling force.
The vessel is a multifunctional PSV of VARD 1 08 design with a total length of 81 meters, beam of 18 meters and a cargo deck area of 830 m2. The vessel will be prepared for standby, rescue, firefighting and oil recovery operations.
