North Highland College – Environmental Research Institute has issued a tender for hydrographic instruments support services.
The contract is for the provision of hydrographic instrumentation support for a minimum of one day per week dependant on needs, weather and sea conditions. The project will start in June 2014 and last until November 2016.
The promoter has issued the following detailed specifications: experience with subsea survey deployments; knowledge of coordinate systems, hydrographic software and mapping; knowledge/experience of using survey equipment; ability to undertake basic survey equipment repairs and maintain records of equipment servicing and vessel equipment.
The deadline for submission of tenders is May 29, 2014.
