Modulift, a specialist in lifting engineering services, is part of the Butendiek offshore wind farm development, providing its expertise in heavy lifting and transport of wind turbine foundations. Ballast Nedam Offshore is contracted to design, supply and install 80 foundations at the German offshore wind farm, with Schmidbauer subcontracted for the heavy lifting and site transport at the base port in Esbjerg, Denmark.
