Suez Canal yesterday achieved a record in the number of vessels and the cargo passing through it, Suez Canal Authority Chairman Mohab Mamish said.
In statements to Al-Tahrir TV channel, Mamish said revenues of Suez Canal are on the rise, asserting that security levels at the water course were beefed up during the election days.
Meanwhile, Mamish asserted that Suez Canal Development project would help achieve economic boost in the area and turns it into an international economic hub.
