Tower Resources plc, the AIM-listed Africa-focussed oil and gas exploration company, provides an update on drilling operations for the Welwitschia-1 well.
Tower Resources, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Neptune Petroleum (Namibia), has announced that it has received notification from Repsol Exploration (Namibia) Limited, the Operator of Namibia PEL0010 (Neptune 30% working interest), that the drilling of Welwitschia-1A re-commenced on the morning of 4 June 2014.
Previously, Repsol has reported a further operational delay to the drilling programme due to a fault with part of the Blow Out Preventer (“BOP”) control system.
