The commissioners will choose engineering firms to obtain state and federal permits to begin the project.
Clam Pass needed repeated dredging because not enough sand has been taken out during the first project, Naples News informs.
The dredging project with a value of $350,000 would see the removal of 13,000 cubic yards of sand.
