Angus Council has awarded Chap Civil Engineering Limited a contract for investigative and maintenance works at Arbroath Harbour.

Investigative works and repairs will be carried out to the walls, using methods of trial holes, coring, grouting, crack repairs and wall strengthening.

The setts on the quay are to be lifted and replaced on bedded concrete and ducts for utilities laid.

The contract has a value of £485,370 and the works will be undertaken during tidal conditions.
