Trelleborg’s offshore operation has announced its partnership with oil and gas distributor, Tidal Resources, to provide on the ground support and local supply to the Malaysian market.

A crucial element of the growth plans of Trelleborg’s offshore operation in Asia, this affiliation means that customers will have access to local representatives, making enquiries quick and easy. In addition, the company is finalizing plans to store its buoyancy products in Singapore to effectively meet lead time requirements in the region.

Feisal Alhady, Executive Director of Tidal Resources in Malaysia, said: “With 20 years experience in the Malaysian offshore oil and gas industry, we are well positioned to support Trelleborg. We specialize in subsea engineering, construction and installation, so we can provide Trelleborg’s offshore operation and its customers a full service offering, locally.”

Ajan Das, Business Development Manager within Trelleborg Offshore and Construction, commented: “We have built a very good relationship with Feisal Alhady and the Tidal Resources team and know that they will deliver the same level of quality and support that we strive to. With many years in the industry, we know that we are collaborating with a knowledgeable and expert company. Similarly, Tidal Resources’ local understanding will ensure that together we can provide our customers and prospects with the optimum solution they need for their application.”
