OceanWorks International has completed the next generation Quantum II ADS 1200 including Pilot and Technician Training for Oceanos’ personnel.

This system provides Oceanos with the latest generation Atmospheric Diving System (ADS) and the certification of an additional 3 pilots, 5 pilot/supervisors, and 3 technicians.

The field proven ADS 1200 HARDSUIT™ (manufactured and operated by OceanWorks) is a key component of marine military inventories across the globe. The ADS is valued for safety, cost efficiency, the reduced equipment footprint required on vessels, and most importantly the elimination of decompression after the job.

ADS maintains the advantage of being a manned systems while running at an overall lower operating cost than Saturation Diving Systems. ADS require half the personnel, significantly less deck space, smaller crane size, less power, and has faster mobilisation/demobilisation times.
