Chart Ferox, a unit of Chart industries in the Czech Republic, said it has been awarded two contracts by Gazprom Germania to provide fueling stations for LNG city buses in Poland produced by the local bus manufacturer Solbus.
Chart Ferox is responsible for the complete station design and manufacture, and will assist with the installation and commissioning of the stations, the company said in a statement.
The first LNG vehicle fueling station will be located in the city of Olsztyn, while the second, permanent LNG vehicle fueling station will be located in the Polish capital Warsaw and will be “ the first station in Europe dedicated to providing LNG as fuel for city buses “.
