MMT has reported that after a year of engineering, constructing and testing of equipment, ROV Surveyor Interceptor is taking form at Kystdesign AS.
The Surveyor Interceptor is a specialised fast underwater survey platform, capable of 8 knots while recording highest resolution Bathymetry, Lidar and High Resolution Photo Mosaics.
“The ROV is a joint project with Reach Subsea and the specifications for the ROV are established in close cooperation with our clients,” MMT said.
The ROV is expected to be fully operative during the 3rd quarter this year and is scheduled for mobilization on board the Stril Explorer vessel .
Surveyor Interceptor will deliver subsea services such as general Offshore Survey, Lay Support, Seabed Mapping and Pipeline/Structure Inspections.
