QuEST Global, a leading global engineering services provider, has announced the opening of a new engineering center in Houston, Texas.
The center will provide engineering services and solutions for the upstream oil industry, equipment manufacturers and other oil and gas companies. The company has over 100 employees in the Houston area and plans to hire many more to support increasing demands for engineering services in the oil and gas sector.
Earlier this year, QuEST Global acquired Beeken TechQuest and its Bangalore based arm, UFT Beeken Engineering Services, to create a highly capable team to support the oil and gas upstream technology area. The Houston location will be the hub of QuEST’s global oil and gas business as it expands its footprint worldwide.

The oil and gas industry is facing many challenges today, including escalating labor and capital costs, increasing complexity of drilling and completions, increasing lead times and more stringent governmental regulations and an engineering talent demographic disadvantage in the region. To overcome these challenges and remain competitive, oil field service companies and equipment manufacturers need to reduce well construction and production costs through innovation and business process changes.
