Not only does the company provides hands-on practical and theory training in the UK leading to an Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) qualification, but the company’s highly qualified and experienced trainers travel throughout the world offering in-depth training for the safe and efficient use of its comprehensive range of bolt tensioning equipment.
Recently, Training Manager, Glenn Dixon travelled to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates to train personnel from Tentec’s distributor Euro Mechanical. As its equipment is used in a range of different industries including petrochemical, offshore and the wind energy markets and the integrity of the joints and flanges is vital for the safety and functional purposes, Tentec advises that only trained personnel operate the tools. Therefore, Euro Mechanical operatives participated in a 7 day training course comprising both theory and practical sessions.
“It is extremely important that all operatives are trained in both the theory and practice of bolt integrity.” explains Glenn. “We provided training over 7 days in groups of 4, so everyone could have my individual attention and benefit from my extensive experience in the field, especially offshore.”
