Norwegian Otic Equipment AS has signed a frame agreement with Statoil for the delivery of high performance steel wire rope for uses at Statoil’s offshore cranes.

The agreement starts 1st July, and is for 4 years with an option for an additional 2 x 2 years. The deliveries will be based on high performance steel wire ropes from the Austrian manufacturer Teufelberger.

Otic Equipment AS was established in 2013 with the purpose of design, production and sale of lifting equipment.

“The agreement is a big vote of confidence, and show that even relatively newly formed companies can reach up in the competition for frame agreements with Statoil,” says General Manager Svend Mauritzen .
